Spring is upon us, which means that it’s time for colourful treats! Why not start with these Raspberry and Chocolate Covered Almonds? They taste exactly like you would imagine spring would taste :-).

And I have to add, there is barely any editing on the pictures – it’s their actual color! And with a color like this, you wouldn’t believe that there is actually only 3 ingredients used.

– INGREDIENTS –

2 dl / 0.8 cups almonds

100g (approx. one bar) dark chocolate, melted

2-3 tbsp dry-freezed raspberry powder

– DIRECTIONS –

  1. Start of by roasting the almonds on a frying pan. Make sure that they are browned. Let them cool.
  2. Melt the chocolate while the almonds cool down. Cover the almonds in chocolate, by dipping them in a bowl of the melted chocolate. Let them cool and dry, and if you have more chocolate you can give them a second layer.
  3. When the chocolate is completely hardened, place them in a zip-lock bag with the raspberry powder. Close the bag and shake it well. This way all the almonds will be completely covered in raspberry powder. Serve and enjoy! Store any leftovers in your refrigerator.

The best thing about this kind of almonds is that you can experiment with all kinds of tastes –  you can also try my Cinnamon & Chocolate Covered Almonds.
