Neapolitan Nice Cream

I’ve always liked the look of tri-coloured ice cream, but not so much the taste. So when I made this, I was amazed! This nice cream is everything and more. The combination of these three flavours is classic and great. The recipe makes for one portion, but you can of course double or triple up.




Nice Cream:

3 bananas, frozen

a handful strawberries, frozen

1 tbsp cacao powder

a dash of water

Raw Chocolate:

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp cacao powder

1 tsp acacia honey


Raw Chocolate:

  1. Melt the coconut oil.
  2. Add cacao powder and acacia honey, and whisk well.
  3. Let sit on really low heat.

Nice Cream:

  1. Blend bananas in a high speed blender or food processor. Add water if necessary for blending.
  2. Split the nice cream in three parts. Put one part in your dessert glass. Put the second part aside. Leave the third part in the food processor.
  3. Blend the nice cream in the food processor with the cacao powder.
  4. Put the cacao nice cream on top of the banana nice cream in the dessert glass.
  5. Quickly rinse the food processor and put the last part of nice cream in.
  6. Blend the last part with the strawberries.
  7. Scoop the strawberry nice cream on top of the cacao nice cream.
  8. Pour some of the raw chocolate over (the raw chocolate will harden 🙂 ).
  9. Top with toppings (I topped with cacao nibs). Enjoy!
