Chili & Lime Almonds

The first time I made these, I was blown away. This batch of Chili & Lime Almonds will probably also be gone in a few days :). They taste like some expensive almonds from a fancy store, when in reality, they are just a simple and easy recipe that takes 10 minutes to make!

First, you prepare the cilantro and lime. Then you heat the almonds on a pan with spices. In the end, you pour the lime over the almonds, and add coriander.

– INGREDIENTS –

2 cups / 5 dl almonds

1 tbsp oil

1-2 tsp chili powder (depending on how spicy you prefer)

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tbsp cilantro, chopped

– DIRECTIONS –

  1. Chop cilantro and squeeze lime. Set aside.
  2. Add oil on a pan. Add almonds. Stir until all almonds are covered in oil. Add salt and chilli powder. Stir on high heat until almonds are lightly toasted and fragrant (aprox. 5 minutes). They should be pretty hot!
  3. Place almonds in a separate bowl. Add lime juice. Stir. Add cilantro. Stir.
  4. Place on a baking tray to cool. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
