Hello! Banana Nice Cream is something many vegans enjoy, since it is pure fruit, but why non-vegans can enjoy it as well! Banana Nice Cream is a good alternative, for a healthier ice cream. The Nice Cream is thick and creamy, just like ice cream, and is super healthy since it’s only fruit! So if you’re like me, and could eat ice cream every second of the day, try this!
The bananas should be frozen for at least 3 hours before making the nice cream. Blend the frozen bananas, add a splash of liquid, and it’s ready to be eaten! You can play around with the nice cream, and make it however you want with different flavours and toppings. I’ll be doing a few more posts with different flavours, so if you like this, stay tuned!
– INGREDIENTS –
3 bananas, frozen
a splash of milk (I use almond milk, but you can use whatever you prefer)
any toppings you can imagine
– DIRECTIONS –
- Let bananas thaw for 10 minutes prior to blending them.
- Blend bananas in food processor or high powered blender until roughy chopped.
- Add milk, and blend until thick and creamy. The nice cream will need to be scooped down from the sides a few times. Add extra milk if necessary.
- Add cacao nibs for topping. Enjoy!
